This Privacy Policy explains how NoShow collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the NoShow app, website, and related services.
Information We Collect
- Account information, such as phone number, country or region, nickname, profile photo, language, and timezone.
- Mission information, such as mission place, address, coordinates, scheduled time, fine amount, invite status, check-in result, Chance use, and cancellation or refund records.
- Location information when needed to confirm arrival, show mission progress, or share location with friends in the same mission.
- Payment information handled by payment providers, such as provider customer ID, payment method token, brand, last four digits, expiry, payment, refund, and webhook status. NoShow does not store raw card numbers or CVC.
- Device and usage information, such as app version, diagnostic logs, crash reports, notification tokens, and product analytics events.
How We Use Information
- To verify accounts, create missions, manage invitations, confirm arrivals, process fines, refunds, and Chance purchases.
- To show mission times, currencies, locations, and notifications in a way that matches your locale and timezone.
- To prevent abuse, investigate payment disputes, secure accounts, and maintain reliable service.
- To improve NoShow using aggregated analytics and error diagnostics.
Location Sharing
NoShow requests location access only when it is needed for mission check-in or mission location sharing. During a mission, your location may be shared with friends participating in the same mission so they can understand arrival status. You can change device location permissions in your operating system settings.
Payment Providers
Card registration, fines, refunds, and item purchases are processed by payment providers. NoShow stores only the provider references needed to operate the service and never stores raw card numbers or CVC.
Service Providers
We use service providers for hosting, database, storage, phone verification, maps, payment processing, analytics, crash reporting, and customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to NoShow.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide NoShow, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms. Account deletion requests are handled as described in the Account Deletion guide.
Your Choices
- You can update profile information in the app.
- You can disable push notifications and location permissions in device settings.
- You can request account deletion or privacy support by email.
Children
NoShow is not intended for children under the minimum age required in their country or region. We do not knowingly collect information from children who are not allowed to use the service.
International Use
NoShow is built for global use. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, subject to appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
